Paul and Sandy Edgerley

Paul Edgerley was a Managing Director at Bain Capital from 1990 until his retirement in January 2016 and he now serves as a Senior Advisor to the firm. At Bain, he co-led the private equity business, overseeing the firm’s expansion into Asia, and served as the co-head of the firm’s investment committee.  Currently, Paul is Managing Director of VantEdge Partners, a private investment family office group focused on building partnership that grow excellent companies.

Throughout his career Paul has served on over 20 corporate boards including Director and Chairman of the Board of New York Stock Exchange listed Sensata Technologies, Hero MotoCorp, APEX Tool Group, TI Automotive, Steel Dynamics, HD Supply, Brenntag, MYOB, Sealy, FTE Automotive, Enjet, LVE, Bluemont Group, Boston Celtics, Kansas City Royals and AS Roma. In the nonprofit sector Paul is on the Board of Directors at Year Up, the Board of Massachusetts General Hospital, the Dean’s Advisory Board at Harvard Business School and is Commission Chair of Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (SIPPRA), a federal government bi-partisan commission. Paul previously served as Co-Chair of the Harvard University Capital Campaign; Co-Chair of the Harvard Campaign for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Trust Board of Kansas State University, Children’s Hospital Trust Board, the Board of New Profit, Inc. and the US Board of The Right to Play.

Paul is a graduate of Kansas State University and Harvard Business School where he graduated with Distinction. 

Sandy Edgerley has been actively involved in the education and social service nonprofit arena, including serving ten years as a director and four years as Chair of The Boston Foundation as well as twenty years as a director and five years as Chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. She currently serves as a director on a number of nonprofit boards including City Year, where she is National Chair of the Red Jacket Society; Scholar Athletes; as well as the Senior Advisory Board of Horizons for Homeless Children, the Massachusetts General Hospital President’s Council and the Dean’s Advisory Board at Harvard Business School . She previously was a long-time board member of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley where she was a Co-Chair of the Tocqueville Society, served as Co-Chair of the Harvard University Capital Campaign, Co-Chair of the Harvard Campaign for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Co-Chair of the Harvard College Fund, served on the boards of Youth Villages, Be The Change, and as an overseer at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and WGBH. 

Sandy is Founder and President of real estate development firm Hexagon Properties focused on luxury residential and hospitality projects. Her signature blend of design and luxury services create stunning residences and home away from home experiences with a portfolio of properties in Aspen and Boston, including Haddon Hall, The Mother Lode and No. 284 Guest House. Her latest venture, The Quin, melds community building and design to create a unique and collective experience.

Sandy was previously a consultant and Director of Recruiting and Training at Bain & Company.  She is a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Business School where she graduated with Distinction.
